Mercedes-Benz CLS owner pays £20k to cover it with one million Swarovski crystals [video]

Belongs to a Russian woman

A Russian woman paid no less than £20,000 to cover her Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 with one million Swarovski crystals.

It was November 2008 when Ken and Annie Burkitt from Ontario put one million Swarovski crystals on a MINI and now Daria Radionova, a 21-year-old business student originating from Russia, applied the same treatment on her Mercedes-Benz CLS 350. Each crystal was glued onto the vehicle manually by a group of workers that came from Russia especially for this grueling job which took 12 hours a day for two months.

Someone should now inform Daria that Mercedes-Benz is actually selling a model fitted with Swarovski crystals, the S-Class Coupe, which can be optionally had with special headlamps featuring 30 round crystals forming the turn indicator lamps and another 17 angular ones creating the daytime running lights.
