Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster spontaneously combusts in Cape Town [videos]

Wasn't involved in a crash

A Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster caught fire and was almost completely destroyed on Kloof Road in Clifton, Cape Town, South Africa.

Although Ferrari is still in the lead as far as spontaneous combustions are concerned, Lamborghini is "trying" to catch up as recently several fiery incidents involving the Murcielago occurred. The latest example comes from Kloof Road in Cape Town where a Murcielago Roadster transformed into a huge fireball.

The orange supercar wasn't involved in an accident prior to catching fire so most likely this was caused by an electrical problem. The good news is nobody was hurt, but the car is probably beyond repair even though firefighters tried hard to stop the conflagration as fast as humanly possible.
