Infiniti will team up with Red Bull Racing to develop a family of hot IPL models, according to a new report.
The fruits of this collaboration can already be seen on the special edition FX Sebastian Vettel, but upcoming models will have more significant engine tweaks, not just styling changes. The first Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) model to be launched is the Q50 IPL which is expected to be a more worthy adversary for the BMW M3.
Car and Driver mentions some of the upcoming models could feature a Red Bull Racing badge, but what's really important is the know-how the world-champion F1 team will bring to Infiniti's performance lineup.
As a reminder, Infiniti is sponsoring the Red Bull Racing team as part of a 250M USD contract.
