2013 Skoda Octavia Combi
Octavia Combi 4x4 heading to Geneva
Skoda has revealed the 2013 Octavia Combi which will be showcased together with the 4x4 variant in Geneva next month.
After revealing the sedan version towards the end of last year, Skoda is now showing the more practical Combi version. Compared to its predecessor, the wagon is 45mm wider and 90mm longer and comes with an 11cm longer wheelbase.
Thanks to the increased size, the car now offers an extra 73mm of rear legroom and 610 liters of cargo space with the rear seats up. With the rear seats folded, available boot space is increased to 1740 liters. The passenger seat can be folded which enables an easier transport of longer objects.
The engine lineup will probably be carried over from the sedan, while the 4x4 variant will make use of the new fifth-gen Haldex coupling introduced on the Golf VII 4Motion.
