Ford Performance Vehicles plans on going out with a bang through the GT F special edition set to come out later this year.

As you probably have heard, FPV will be shutting down but not before rolling out a special edition GT F (Final) which will be limited to 550 units (500 for Australia and 50 for New Zealand). Specifications and photos of the high-performance sedan have not been released but we do know it will have a starting price of 77,990 AUD. It is believed the model will pack 477 PS (351 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) but nothing is official at this point.

FPV does say the car will have the same handling capabilities as the GT RSPEC thanks to a recalibrated suspension while grip will be improved by installing wider rear wheels with 275/35 R19 Dunlop Sports Maxx tires. The GT F sedan will also come with a launch control system as well as Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes which are optionally available on the FPV GT.

In terms of design, the FPV GT F will have a "bold and expressive" look reminiscent of classic Australian Ford GTs and will also feature a "stealth" stripe design package featuring blacked-out headlights as seen on Ford's muscle cars of the 70s. It will be sold with a choice of five exterior paint schemes: white, black, blue, dark grey and orange together with matte black stripes.

FPV also plans a revised Ute limited to 120 cars powered by a V8 5.0-liter supercharged engine delivering 428 PS (315 kW) at 5,750 rpm and 545 Nm (402 lb-ft) of torque available between 2,000 rpm and 5,500 rpm. The FPV V8 Pursuit Ute will cost 52,990 AUD.
