Could be introduced later this year

The Opel Adam Cabrio has been spied undergoing cold weather testing.

Previewed by the Adam Rocks concept, the Cabrio has a fabric soft top that operates like the one on the Citroen DS3 Cabrio. As a result, the top retracts to the rear of the roof but doesn't disappear completely.

Engine options will likely carryover from the standard model so expect choices to include a 1.2-liter with 70 HP (51 kW) and a 1.4-liter with outputs of 87 HP (64 kW) and 100 HP (74 kW).

The Adam Cabrio could be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show but nothing is official as of yet.
