Hyundai updates i20 WRC for Geneva

Private testing commencing later this year

Hyundai has revealed an updated i20 WRC today at the start of the Geneva Motor Show.

The original version was showed last September at the Paris Motor Show sporting a white & blue livery with white rims, while the revised model brings a baby blue/black theme with black alloys. It comes with a new front spoiler, rear wing, as well as revised suspension and chassis stiffness.

Hyundai will start private testing the car later on this year through various locations in Europe, before the vehicle will make its motorsport debut in the 2014 WRC season. The car is being developed at the R&D facility in Namyang, Korea in collaboration with Hyundai's new Alzenau facility located in Germany.
