Grand Kangoo also refreshed

Renault has facelifted the passenger van versions of the Kangoo and Grand Kangoo after last month they showed the utilitarian and Z.E. models. The entire range will be showcased next week in Geneva.

The people-carrier will be available in two new Extrem or Business versions (aside from the existing Life, Zen and Intens), packing a wide array of gasoline and diesel engines including the Energy dCi 75, 90 and Energy TCe 115. There's also the Energy dCi 110 which has CO2 emissions of only 115 g/km.

The range-topping Extrem variant comes with a two-tone black and Dark Metal bumper, 15-inch alloys, side strip molding, roof rails and tinted rear windows. Business is described as a mid-range model developed especially for business users.

Some of the available equipment includes ESC with Hill Start Assist and Extended Grip, Renault R-Link multimedia system, stop/start system, Energy Smart Management (ESM) and a new radio with Bluetooth and USB support.

Already available on order, the 2013 Renault Kangoo "leisure activity vehicle" has a starting price in France of 18,200 EUR.
