2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 limited edition brings some US flavor to Paris

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 limited edition

Arriving this October.

Following an announcement made about a week ago, Jeep has introduced in Paris the 2013 Grand Cherokee SRT8 limited edition. Wearing a Bright white exterior with gloss black accents, the vehicle rides on 20-inch alloy wheels and gets the same engine as the standard model.

We’re talking about a HEMI V8 6.4-liter unit that produces 462 hp (344 kW) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) of torque. Mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox, it completes the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in a decent 5 seconds and it will keep on going until it hits a top speed of 160 mph (257 km/h).

It benefits from an SRT-tuned adaptive damping suspension that is being managed by the Jeep Selec-Track system which comes with five dynamic modes: auto, sport, two, track and snow. Standard equipment includes a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with subwoofer, Command View dual-pane sunroof and several safety systems like Forward Collision Warning and Blind Spot Detection.

Inside the cabin there are Nappa leather / suede sport seats, stainless steel pedals, a carbon fiber trim and a heated steering wheel with paddle shifters.

Additional details are available in the attached press release.
