Citroën is presenting in Geneva the Technospace concept which previews the next generation of the C4 Picasso.

We don't know how much of this bold design will be carried over to the new C4 Picasso but we'll find out soon as the model will be revealed sometime next month. The concept seen here in live photos from Geneva has a 2783mm wheelbase which is 55mm longer than the one of the current C4 Picasso so passengers have more room for their legs, especially the ones sitting on the rear seats.

The Technospace is 4430mm long, 1830mm wide and has a 1610mm height, making it 40mm shorter than the outgoing C4 Picasso. Citroën went for a more compact look by reducing the overhangs and they implemented split A-pillars to boost visibility.

The next-gen C4 Picasso will utilize the firm's Efficient Modular Platform 2 (EMP2) which should make it about 154 lbs (70 kg) lighter. Featuring more frugal engines, the car is expected to have CO2 emissions of just 98 g/km for the version fitted with the most efficient engine.
