Three trim levels available





The Mazda6 is finally available in the United States in three trim levels with prices starting from 20,880 USD, without the 795 USD destination fee.



The entry-level i Sport model is offered with a 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine producing 184 hp (137 kW) and 185 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque. Mated to the standard 6-speed manual gearbox, the Mazda6 can return 25 mpg city / 37 mpg highway / 29 mpg combined. With the optional 6-speed automatic it can do 26 / 38 / 30.



The mid-range i Touring starts from 24,495 USD and adds 19-inch alloys, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear seat vents, 6-way power driver's seat and leather-trimmed sport seats. The high-end i Grand Touring variant begins at 29,495 USD and brings power moonroof, bi-xenon HID headlights, rear lip spoiler, heated front seats and a four-way power front passenger seat.



During the second half of 2013, Mazda will introduce in the United States a SKYACTIV-D 2.2-liter diesel engine. No specifications have been released, but its European sibling generates 148 hp (110 kW) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) or 173 hp (129 kW) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm).
