2015 Nissan Murano
Goes on sale next month
Nissan has announced the 2015 Nissan Murano will be priced from $29,560 - excluding an $885 destination and handling fee - when it goes on sale in the United States next month.
Billed as Nissan's "halo" crossover, the 2015 Murano has a bold design that will likely provoke love or hate it reactions.
The entry-level model is sparsely equipped but features a dual-zone climate control system, power windows / locks, a keyless entry system and a 7-inch Advanced Drive-Assist display. The model also has Bluetooth connectivity and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Moving up the $32,620 SV variant rewards buyers with power front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a navigation system with an 8-inch display. The crossover also features fog lights and black roof rails.
The $36,950 Murano SL goes one step further as it adds heated leather front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a Bose audio system. Other highlights include silver roof rails, a power liftgate and an Around View Monitor.
Last but not least, the range-topping Murano Platinum has LED headlights and 20-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, there's a power tilt / telescoping steering wheel, heated and cooled front seats and a heated steering wheel.
All variants are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 260 bhp (194 kW) and 240 lb-ft (325 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an Xtronic transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
