Saabpocalypse 3.0?
We haven't heard much from National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) since a "short term cash problem" forced them to stop Saab 9-3 production in May but a new report is indicating the cash problems could be far worse than expected.
The Associated Press is reporting Saab supplier Labo Test has petitioned a Swedish court to declare NEVS bankrupt. According to the filing, NEVS owes Labo Test 150,000 kronor ($21,800 / € 16,320 / £15,985) and company hasn't paid since February.
NEVS declined to comment but the company has previously blamed their financial problems on Qingbo Investment not fulfilling their "contractual obligation to [help] finance the operations."
