Nissan Juke-R

Following the release of the first video, Nissan today released video 3 of the ongoing development on the Juke-R - a Nissan Juke powered by the engine from a GT-R.

In video 2, Nissan shows how the engine and drivetrain from the GT-R was transferred into the body of a Juke. In video 3, the Japanese automaker now shows us how engineers are working on a complex roll cage inside the Juke's body shell, as well as the structure that will house the GT-R's engine, drivetrain and other systems.

The finished project will make its debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show.

Refresher: Power for the Nissan Juke-R comes from the GT-R's 3.8 liter twin-turbo V6 making 520-hp. Under the floor is the GT-R's six-speed transaxle, with the front and rear ends joined by a modified GT-R 4WD driveline and prop shaft, while chunky 20-inch RAYS forged alloy rims fill each wheel arch.
