An attention grabber

A Lexus RC F was photographed featuring the recently introduced Solar Flare paint scheme.

Back in May, Lexus' UK division launched a color naming contest to find a suitable designation for a striking orange hue. Last month after nearly 400 entries, "Solar Flare" was picked as the winner and now we get the chance to see it in the metal. As if the Lexus RC F wasn't already an eye-grabber, wearing this attractive paint makes it stand out even more and looks actually better than it does in the official renders.

Matching the desirable looks is a 5.0-liter V8 engine generating 450 bhp (335 kW) and 383 lb-ft (518 Nm) which is actually the most powerful V8 engine Lexus has ever made. It enables the high-performance coupe hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 4.6 seconds prior to reaching a top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h).
