Fiat 500X Abarth render / X-Tomi Design
Fiat's Vice President of Design has revealed the company could offer a 500X Abarth.
Speaking to CarAdvice, Roberto Giolito said “The 500X is a good body for Abarth." He added, "It’s absolutely perfect in terms of drivability, control. The driving seat is perfectly measured to control the car. So the Abarth [variant] would be perfect.”
He stopped short of confirming plans for a production model but hinted there would be plenty of styling tweaks and the model would be instantly recognizable as an Abarth.
There's no word on what would power the 500X Abarth but the standard model offers a variety of engines including a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine that develops 184 PS (137 kW).
