Lamborghini has unveiled the Lamborghini Huracan which is the successor to the iconic Gallardo. The model derives its name from the world of bullfighting.
The new Huracan comes with precise technology and top level craftsmanship. It has sharp edges, monolithic and sculptured volumes and precise surfaces. The silhouette of the Huracan merges the front with the cockpit and the rear of the car. The main headlamps are equipped with full LED illumination.
The interior is dominated by an innovative cockpit with a 12.3 inch full-color TFT instrument panel. Fine Nappa leather and Alcantara distinguish the interior, with several color combinations offered to ensure broad individualization options. Superb craftsmanship guarantees the highest quality and sense of luxury throughout.
The 2014 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 is powered by the 'IDS' 5.2-liter V10 engine delivering a maximum power of 610 HP (448 kW) at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) at 6.500 rpm. IDS stands for Iniezione Diretta Stratificata, a mixture of direct and indirect fuel injection. The car can accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds, 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 9.9 seconds and has a top speed of more than 202 mph (325 km/h).
The Lamborghini Huracan will make its world public debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2014.
