400 hp and 350 lb-ft.
The Hyundai Velocity Veloster Concept is being showcased this week at SEMA, featuring a Cosworth-tuned engine.
The 1.6-liter, direct-injected power unit has received a turbocharger, performance pistons, intercooler, new fuel system, custom intake manifold, engine management revisions and an intake-charging design. Thanks to these tweaks, it outputs 400 hp (298 kW) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque.
It comes with a more aggressive body kit that includes a lift-reducing rear diffuser, oversized rear wing, as well as front and rear brake cooling ducts. It features 19-inch HRE satin-charcoal lightweight racing wheels with Kumho Ecsta SPT 275/35 R19 high performance summer tires. The stopping power is provided by Brembo 350x28mm two-piece rotors and four-piston calipers.
The interior cabin has also suffered some alterations, featuring a CPR integrated roll bar, Race-Keeper GPS data acquisition system and Sparco seatbelts.
