Rowan Atkinson has decided to sell his McLaren F1 and is asking a whopping £8 million.
Famous primarily for his role as Mr. Bean, 60-year-old actor Rowan Atkinson has decided to part ways with his McLaren F1 which was bought as new back in 1997 for £640,000. After two accidents and 41,000 miles, the ultra-rare supercar is up for grabs through luxury London dealer Taylor & Crawley and can be yours for a cool £8 million.
We remind you the first crash occurred back in 2009 when he rear-ended a helpless Rover Metro while the second incident - and much more serious - happed in August 2011 when he lost control of the F1 on a slippery road near Peterborough and heavily damaged the car while injuring his shoulder in the process. It took a whole month just to figure out the repair costs and in the end the insurers had to pay no less than £910,000 to get the supercar back in shape.
Rowan Atkinson's McLaren F1 wears chassis #61 of only 64 standard street cars ever made while the entire production stood at just 106 units including five LMs, three GTs, 28 GTRs, one LM and five prototypes.

More power, less weight
A hotter Porsche Boxster has been spied for the first time testing, prior to an expected launch next year.
Almost a year ago, Porsche introduced a more powerful Boxster GTS with 340 HP & 370 Nm but that won't remain the range-topping version for a long time as a higher specification is being prepared. Porsche has already confirmed it won't be as hardcore as the upcoming Cayman GT4 but nevertheless we should expect even more power from the six-cylinder 3.4-liter boxer engine and it will be wrapped around in a lighter package as the cabin will lose some of the amenities for the sake of shaving off excess weight.
Since we know for sure it won’t be called "Boxster GT4", chances are Porsche will dig up an old moniker and one of the possible candidates is the RS Spyder used back in 2007. That was a special edition developed to celebrate the Porsche Type 718 RS Spyder which triumphed in the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring race in Florida, United States.
The prototype spotted by our spy photographers had a more aggressive front bumper and an additional air intake at the bottom of the hood, just like in the 911 GT3. Moreover, the rear end shows a ducktail spoiler while the suspension appears to be lower compared to the regular variant.
Porsche will probably decide to reveal the meaner Boxster in 2016 at a starting price considerably higher than the GTS which in Germany kicks off at €69,949.

Toyota highlights the TRD Pro lineup [video]
Toyota has released a new promotional video for their TRD Pro lineup.
While the clip features the outgoing Tacoma TRD Pro, it gives us a unique overview of the models and their various components.
As a refresher, the 4Runner TRD Pro costs $41,110 and features a skid plate, a 1-inch front lift kit and 17-inch alloy wheels with Nitto Terra Grappler tires. The model also has a 4.0-liter V6 engine that develops 270 bhp (201 kW) and 278 lb-ft (376 Nm) of torque.
The Tundra TRD Pro goes a step further at it has a front skid plate, a 2-inch front lift and 18-inch alloy wheels with Michelin off-road tires. The model also has an upgraded interior and a unique suspension with revised springs and Bilstein shocks.
A 5.7-liter V8 engine resides under the hood and produces 381 bhp (284 kW) and 401 lb-ft (543 Nm) of torque. It is connected to six-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system.
Mysterious Chevrolet Cruze prototype spied in Europe

A mysterious Chevrolet Cruze prototype has been spied undergoing testing in Northern Europe.
While the car is heavily camouflaged, it has a unique grille front fascia which differs from the Chinese-spec model that was unveiled last April. This could suggest it's an American variant but that's far from official at this point.
Regardless of what it is, the prototype has a dual-port grille with what appears to be a bow-tie emblem. The car also has an upward sweeping beltline, a shark-fin antenna and door-mounted mirrors.
Little else is known about the prototype but the Chinese-spec Cruze can be equipped with a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine or a naturally-aspirated 1.5-liter unit. They can be paired to a variety of transmissions including a six-speed manual, a six-speed automated manual and an all-new seven-speed DCG dual-clutch gearbox.

An intoxicated driver behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG crashed into no less than six cars.
If you had any doubts the G-Class isn't built like a tank, a drunk driver in a G55 AMG managed to wreck six cars earlier this week in Quanzhou, Fujian Province in China. His first victim was a helpless green Volkswagen Santana taxi but he kept on going and hit a second vehicle, possibly a Honda Civic. The most powerful impact occurred on the third strike when the high-powered off-roader entered a one-way street and hit three cars.
Ultimately, the G55 AMG came to a stop on the hood of a Volkswagen Jetta and unfortunately the female driver of the sedan had to be hospitalized after suffering serious injuries. As for the G55 driver, he got out of the vehicle safe and sound and escaped on foot so the local police has put out an APB to catch the felon.

The BMW M235i Coupe has received a plethora of M Performance bits and pieces.
Right now the closest thing to an M2 Coupe is this M235i Coupe equipped with an extensive array of parts from the M Performance catalog. This particular car wears a metallic black paint combined with several carbon fiber items such as the front & rear spoilers, side skirts, exterior mirror caps and rear diffuser. Some of the aero components have red accents which are also noticeable on the alloy wheels. Moreover, the kidney grille has the M colors while the side skirts wear the "M Performance" lettering.
The interior cabin has also been pampered with the M Performance treatment as there are M alloy pedals, M-branded steering wheel, red leather seats, "M235i" aluminum side sills and other similar tweaks.
Under the hood there's an inline-six 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine with 326 HP (240 kW) and 450 Nm (322 lb-ft). When mated to the optional eight-speed automatic gearbox, the engine allows the M235i hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.8 seconds (+0.2s with six-speed manual) before topping out at an electronically limited 155 mph (250 km/h).
If that's not enough, later this year BMW will introduce the range-topping M2 which should offer around 380 HP (279 kW) in a lighter package granting a sprint in as little as 4.4 seconds while top speed will likely continue to be capped at 155 mph. Rear-wheel drive will be standard but it is believed the model will eventually be offered in select markets with an xDrive all-wheel drive arrangement at an additional cost.

The Mustang fanatics at Mustang6G have managed to get their hands on an ordering guide for the new Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustang.
According to the documents, the cars will feature HID headlights, aerodynamic styling tweaks and 19-inch aluminum wheels with either Michelin Pilot Super Sport or Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The GT350 will also have Recaro sport seats, a leather / Alcantara wrapped steering wheel and aluminum trim. Other highlights include air conditioning, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and the SYNC connectivity system.
The model can be ordered with a variety of options including a Track Package which adds a MagneRide adaptive suspension, heavy-duty front springs, a strut tower brace and engine / transmission / differential coolers. There will also be a Technology Package which includes the MangeRide suspension and heavy-duty front springs from the Track Package as well as leather upholstery, heated /cooled front seats and a SYNC 3 infotainment system - among other things.
The GT350R has fewer options but there will be an Electronics Package which includes much of the same equipped as the Technology Package on the GT350.
As a fresher, both models are powered by a 5.2-liter flat-plane crank V8 engine that develops more than 500 bhp (373 kW) and 400 lb-ft(542 Nm) of torque. They are connected to a six-speed manual transmission which sends power to the ground via a Torsen limited slip differential.

AMG CEO says a GT Black Series is a "must do" model

Mercedes-AMG CEO Tobias Moers has reiterated plans for an AMG GT Black Series.
Speaking to Autocar, Moers said an "AMG GT Black is a car we must do." However, he hinted it's several years off as he stated "Black Series cars tend to come towards the end of a car’s production cycle."
Moers also revealed we can expect a "full family" of AMG variants in the future. He declined to go into specifics but the company has already confirmed plans for an AMG GT3. There have also been rumors about an AMG GT Convertible and Moers, himself, has previously hinted at a mysterious "nice" variant that is expected to slot between the GT S and GT Black Series.

Previewed by a namesake concept last year, the DS 3 Ines de la Fressange Paris limited edition is now available as a production model.
2015 represents the first full year for the newly established standalone DS luxury marque part of PSA Peugeot Citroën and to kick things off they have prepared a limited edition of the DS 3 offered both as a coupe and cabrio. It's a follow-up to last year's concept from Paris Motor Show and can be visually distinguished by its elegant Encre blue paint scheme combined with an Onyx black roof and "Rouge Ines" side mirrors.
Available with four engines, the limited-run DS3 carries a starting price of €23,950 and comes as standard with full xenon LED headlights introduced last year with the facelift. This special version also stands out thanks to its bespoke front seat headrests and a "Rouge Ines" finish of the dashboard.

Land Rover has introduced the Range Rover Evoque NW8 special edition during the Montreal International Auto Show in Canada.
The Evoque NW8 is the third in a series of 'Inspired by Britain' special edition models from Jaguar Land Rover. The company explains that the vehicle takes its inspiration from “the postcode in North West London, UK, that has been at the heart of the city's creative scene since the Sixties and is home to the world famous Abbey Road”.
The machine is finished in Fuji White paintwork with Firenze Red roof and side mirror caps. Other design improvements include Range Rover lettering on the bonnet and tailgate, darkened headlights and fog lamps, Santorini Black wing vents and grille and 20-inch alloy wheels with Narvik Black (EU-spec) or Vibration Polished (US-spec) finish.
The interior can be equipped with a choice of Taurus leather Ebony seats with Pimento perforated inserts or Ebony seats with perforated Ebony inserts. There are also embroidered headrests and a red rotary Driver Selector with matching gearshift paddles or a white gearlever insert with red graphics for the manual models.
Land Rover will produce only 1,000 examples of the Evoque NW8 special edition.

2016 Lexus RX to debut in New York, go on sale later this year

According to a recent report, Lexus will introduce the 2016 RX at the New York Auto Show.
Nothing is official but Edmunds is reporting the redesigned crossover will arrive at dealerships later this year and continue to be based on the same platform that underpins the Toyota Camry.
That's not much to go on but previous spy photos have shown the crossover will have an evolutionary design with a prominent spindle grille that is flanked by sweptback headlights. The model will also have a dual exhaust system and sportier bodywork that echoes the entry-level NX.
Specifications remain a mystery but the model could feature a familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine that develops approximately 270 bhp (201 kW). However, the six-speed automatic transmission could be replaced by a new eight-speed gearbox.
BMW 1-Series massive facelift officially unveiled [video]
More than welcomed cosmetic changes
BMW has prepared a comprehensive facelift for its entry-level model, the 1-Series.
Looks are subjective but many will agree the 1-Series has the least appealing design in BMW’s range but thankfully the car has just received a massive cosmetic revision. The whole front fascia has been redesigned and now packs bigger air intakes, revised apron and a different kidney grille with a more sculpted frame and chrome accents.
More importantly, the pre-facelift’s awkward headlights are now gone and have been replaced by far more attractive clusters that have a twin circular configuration and come as standard with LED daytime running lights. At an additional cost, the 1-Series can get full LED headlights (including indicators) as well as adaptive LED headlights with High Beam Assistant function and LED fog lights with cornering.
The side profile shows flared wheel arches and new horizontal lines which make the car look wider while the rear end is also brand new. It has two-piece taillights extending onto the trunk lid with L-shaped graphics and benefit from LED technology just like the fog lamp.
Stepping inside the cabin, the facelifted BMW 1-Series gets new upholstery options, a 6.5-inch central display and a Controller unit mounted on the center console. Opt for the more expensive navigation system and you get a bigger Controller and a larger 8.8-inch screen. BMW has also updated the buttons and knobs with chrome surrounds while the keypads of the radio and climate control system benefit from high-gloss black detailing. The dual-zone climate system features a white light in daytime mode and orange in night mode.
Both the three- and five-door 1-Series have received a revamped engine lineup, as follows:
- 116i with three-cylinder 1.5-liter with 109 HP & 180 Nm
- 118i with four-cylinder 1.6-liter with 136 HP & 220 Nm
- 120i with four-cylinder 1.6-liter with 177 HP & 250 Nm
- 125i with four-cylinder 2.0-liter with 218 HP & 310 Nm
- 116d & 116d Efficient Dynamics Edition with three-cylinder 1.5-liter with 116 HP & 270 Nm
- 118d & 118d xDrive with four-cylinder 2.0-liter with 150 HP & 320 Nm
- 120d & 120d xDrive with four-cylinder 2.0-liter with 190 HP & 400 Nm
- 125d with four-cylinder 2.0-liter with 224 HP & 450 Nm
As for the range-topping M135i / M135i xDrive, this one has received a 6.8 HP (5 kW) bump in power so the six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine now delivers 326 HP (240 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft). The rear-wheel drive version sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.1 seconds with the standard six-speed manual and in 4.9 seconds with the optional eight-speed Steptronic gearbox before topping at an electronically-capped 155 mph (250 km/h). The xDrive-equipped model (Steptronic is standard) is quicker as it runs the sprint in 4.7 seconds.

2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS
These are the first pictures of the 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS in the wild without any camouflage!
Out of all the various configurations that the 911 can be ordered in, the Porsche 911 GT3 is known as the "driver's" variant of Porsche's 911 range. There have been three iterations of the GT3 so far, with the last two spawning a more hardcore "RS" model, which is meant for the more serious, track-focused enthusiast.
Presently, Porsche has only officially released the "normal" GT3 variant of the current 991 series 911. However, these pictures are unofficially making their way around the internet of the new GT3 RS thanks to Instagram
When taking a closer look, there are some interesting details revealed in these pictures. The obvious difference between the standard GT3 and the RS is the addition of a roll cage, lightweight seats, and a massive rear wing, stating its intention of being a track focused car. Moreover, there are new vents over the front wheel arches. These vents will probably be used for cooling the brakes and getting rid of some of that excess turbulent air in the wheel wells. However, the most interesting detail about this car that these pictures reveal is the addition of side air intakes.
Traditionally, side air intakes on 911s in the past were there to accommodate airflow to the intercoolers for the turbochargers. Thus, only 911 Turbos have had the need for these extra intakes. This is odd, as the GT3 has, and always has had, a high revving naturally aspirated engine. With the current GT3 making 475 hp via a 3.8 flat six engine with a 9000rpm redline, it is hard to imagine how much more performance Porsche can extract out of the car. We are just going to have to wait until Porsche officially releases details of the new 2015 911 GT3 RS to the public later this year.
