Ferrari SP FFX / Jalopnik
Has a coupe profile
Ferrari's one-of-a-kind SP FFX has been photographed in Japan at a recent Ferrari festival.
The one-off model was seen for the first time in late January when we found out it was commissioned by a wealthy Japanese client. It was developed through Ferrari's Special Projects division and it's based on the FF. However, the car's styling has gone through some considerable changes and dare we say it looks worse than the regular Ferrari Four.
Gone is the shooting brake-like rear hatch of the standard FF as the client wanted a coupe profile. Other changes include more aggressive front vents, two vertical bars in the front grille flanking the prancing horse logo along with three vent slats in the front wings.
Since this is kind of like an FF Coupe, we should remind you a rumor emerged earlier this month indicating a regular FF Coupe will see the light of day towards the end of the year or early 2015. Aside from the coupe-like look, the new model will have an updated front fascia, different side vents and will lose the rear seats.
