2014 MINI Cooper
Should go on sale later this year
MINI has released the specifications for the 2014 One and One D.
First up, the One has a 1.2-liter TwinPower Turbo three-cylinder engine that produces 102 HP (75 kW) and 180 Nm (132 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the hatchback to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 9.9 seconds (10.2 seconds with the automatic) before hitting a top speed of 195 km/h (121 mph). In terms of efficiency, owners can expect to average 4.6-4.9 L/100km (48-51.1 mpg US / 57.6-61.4 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions ranging from 108 to 114 g/km.
The One D, on the other hand, has a 1.5-liter TwinPower Turbo three-cylinder diesel engine with 95 HP (70 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 11.0 seconds and hit a top speed of 190 km/h (118 mph). The model also averages 3.4-3.5 L/100km (67.2-69.1 mpg US / 80.7-83 mpg UK) and has CO2 emissions ranging from 89 to 92 g/km.
