Going into 2013, Subaru has decided to make virtually no changes to their 7-passenger SUV. The Tribeca gets a new brake override system and slight changes to colour palate.
Power comes by way of a 3.6L DOHC SUBARU BOXER engine producing 256 hp @ 6000 rpm and 247 lb-ft of torque @ 4400 rpm. Only one transmission is offered as well, a traditional 5-speed automatic, sending power to all four wheels with Subaru symmetrical full-time all-wheel drive.
Trims include base Tribeca, Limited Package, and Premier Package.
In base trim, features include Variable Torque Distribution (VTD), Vehicle Dynamics Control system and Traction Control System, four wheel disc brakes with ABS and brake override, airbags (front, front seat, side curtain), engine immobilizer and anti-theft security system, 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels (5-double spoke design), sunroof, body colour power and mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, fog lights, wiper de-icer, black roof rails, 6-speaker AM/FM/6CD/MP3/WMA audio with auxiliary audio input, satellite radio compatible, monitor system with colour touchscreen, rear view camera, automatic dual-zone climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio system controls, HomeLink, power-adjustable heated front seats with manual lumbar support, 40/20/40-split flat-folding second-row seats, 50/50-split flat-folding third-row seats, and premium cloth upholstery.
